Relax in the large garden, enjoy al fresco meals with the barbecue and wood-fired oven, and take advantage of the private parking on-site. A complimentary bottle of homemade wine adds a personal touch to your stay. (Note: A brand-new sofa has replaced the one shown in older photos.)
Avdou is just 30 minutes by car from Heraklion International Airport, along a scenic drive through Crete’s countryside. The house is ideally located only 20 minutes from the stunning beaches of Hersonissos, Malia, and Stalida—where golden sands meet vibrant beach bars, authentic tavernas, and lively nightlife.
Nature lovers can explore nearby Mount Louloudaki and its hidden gems, including the cave church of Agia Fotini, the Faneromeni cave, and the geological wonder of Trypiti.
