This stone Athens house was built using among other things old marble. It has been lovingly renovated to ensure it is full of light. It’s open plan living, dining and eating area is elegant and has views over Plaka and the garden. There is a mezzanine that serves as a library/reading space, with extra sitting, as well as a study. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a balcony that overlooks Lycabettus Hill.
Outdoors, in the wonderful little garden there is a shaded sitting area where you can eat and drink al fresco while enjoying Athens’ fantastic climate.
Up to 4 guests can enjoy this idyllic residence using the double bedroom and the bed in the living area. During the winter months this cozy home is heated using natural gas while there A/C for the hot summer days.
The house is in Anafiotika, a very quaint part of the Plaka neighborhood, tucked right underneath the Acropolis hill. It is in the most picturesque area possible. It is just a short walk from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum, the metro, traditional tavernas, banks and the city’s bustling shopping streets. A tram or taxi ride away you will find some of Athens’ most popular beaches.
